The Boeing 737 MAX 10 is the longest variant in Boeing’s re-engined narrowbody family. It can seat up to 230 passengers in a high-density, all-economy layout, which means Delta’s decision to dedicate 24 seats to First Class reflects a deliberate trade-off — fewer total seats in exchange for higher per-seat revenue potential.
What the Configuration Signals for Delta’s Fleet Plans
Delta has not yet begun taking deliveries of the MAX 10, making the type one of the more anticipated narrowbody additions to its network. Once deliveries commence, the aircraft is expected to play a meaningful role in the carrier’s domestic and short-haul international operations.
